Jul 07, 2020 · Curly braces represent the start and end of the code block, like the start or end of a class or method body.

In PowerShell, all variable names are prefixed with the dollar sign ($). The name can contain a mix of letters, numbers and symbols (including spaces). When symbols and spaces are used, the variable name has to be enclosed in curly braces, for example: ${A variable} ${A#variable%}
